Judo 4
Judo is the sport founded by Kanō Jigorō in the late 19th century at the Kodokan, Tokyo based on his previous study of several schools of Jiu Jitsu. Because Judo and Jiu Jitsu (especially the style of Shorinjikan Jiu Jitsu governed by The Jiu Jitsu Foundation) are so closely related Judo can provide an excellent starting point for younger children, too young to start at Chiltern Jiu Jitsu. Here are links to some local clubs we know.
Kendo 3
Kendo "The Way of the Sword" has less of a direct link to Jiu Jitsu than Judo but as both Kendo and Jiu Jitsu were fighting arts practised by the Samurai the development of each undoubtedly affected the development of the other.
